MiJan Software is a small consultancy, based in Cambridge, specialising in Geographical Information Systems and general PC application development.
The Company was founded by Michael Williamson who has over 30 years experience in software development, initially in Computer Aided Design (Medusa by Cambridge Interactive Systems, later Computervision and Prime Computers), and latterly in Geographical Informations Systems with Smallworld (which he founded, together with eight other colleagues in 1988).
The Company has been involved in a wide range of developments, and can offer expertise in PC application development (particularly Visual Basic and Access) as well as Magik Programming (for Smallworld GIS). We are also experienced in the MapInfo GIS product, and are involved in a project with a large charitable organisation to apply it to their fund-raising and other operations.
Besides offering bespoke development and consultancy, we have also developed a package to assist Charities in recovering tax on Gift Aid donations. This is sold as a free-standing PC package and for more infomation click here.
